the beauty of hawaii - i really do love these islands

hawaii is simply beautiful... period. sometimes though, the images that represents it isn't what you normally see. yeah, they have some kick ass sunsets and yeah beautiful wahines dancing on the beaches... but the problem is, you don't see that everyday. so what i'm trying to do here is to attempt to show what people can readily see from day to day activities... but with a pingol flair. =)

seriously... we ate hawaii. these photos aren't complete either. there was a lot more consumption that happened. i guess i was too busy eating rather than taking pictures. for those who are following us on twitter, you might have gotten twits about eating here and eating there... well, below are what was experienced. please don't look at these photos with an empty stomach because you might get the urge to bite or lick your monitor. it doesn't work like that people. =)

"maritess and the super friends" - a girlfriends group photo session - independence high school - san jose, california

the title of this post is a play off an old-joke-turned-faux-comic series by one of my fave comedians, rex navarette. though it is true that these ladies who have been friends for years are all "superwomen," especially maritess who organized the photo shoot. maritess is the queen of diy and an awesome graphic designer. you may remember her as we were fortunate to photograph her & edwin's wedding last year.
the ladies and their families opted for independence high school, their alma mater. this definitely brought back memories from their old school days.
